Swissrolls and a birthday
Wow, been 3 days since I last Tweet or blogged.
Not dead!! I'm back =D
Updates plus Tippy Tip for eating Swissrolls THE Prrrrrfect way =)
Hockay! Shall start with the swissroll thingy...
1st, get yourself a slice of your fav-flav swissroll from any local bakery =)
My mumm dear bought Pandan the night before.. muurhhhh..
Ny-ways, personally I get super Jelat after just a couple of bites thanks to the thick cream between the rollie.
THE way to get rid of the jelatness, is to take your rollie home and pop it in a plastic bag (or you can cling foil cover it in a bowl) this is to prevent your fridge from sucking out all the moisture from the sponge.
Now the hardest part... WAIT.....
NOT YET...
A couple of hours later (even though usually I can't be too bothered, I'd leave it overnight)
The cream hardens!!! YAY!! Weee!! Woohoo!!!
Time to go NOM NOM on the fella!!!
Goodbye Jelatness cream!!! I don't know how to explain, but it works and it's NICEEE =)

Went out with Miss Ong for our tradition Birthday date. =)
Had Squid Ink Pizza @ Skinny Pizza Suntec
And dinner was @ The Prima Tower Revolving Restaurant
A Ching Chong Chinese restaurant which.. revolves!! You pay not just for good high end chinese food, but a full harborview from the comfort of your 11th floor seats =)
We got up there.. Flipped open the menu and found...
CHINESE WORDS!!! NO PICTURES!!!
Thus, after some serious (attempts) menu gazing...
We decided to go with one of their Set dinner menus for 2.
1st up was the 赛螃蟹 (Shredded Scallops with Fish & Egg White)
Then came our Fish named Soon Hock油浸顺壳
and soups老火例汤
(Which adelina strongly believed has been TRIPLE BOILED)
This is Soon Hock btw.. Absolute charmer
See? Food elevator!!!
After her twelve millionth toilet break of the day, bestie was back and we continued on our food expedition. With the 大卤面
(Peking Ramen Soup with Meat & Vegetables)
The name didn't sound too appetizing, but it came and was goooood =)
Gorgeous Mr Spikey Sea Cucumber
Last but not least, desseeert!! Mango pudding topped with fresh mango cubbies =)
The bestie was so happy with her dinner, her thumb stood up sub consciously during phototaking

Haircut wanna-get
Met Miss Ting Chow today for a visit to her hairstylist... hmmm.. and really, a thought I was kinda ready for another hairstylist.
BUT, NOooooo...
Think I'll still go back, stay good and go back to Jessica Jie Jie and have my routine cut =)
It's been 21 years, still lovin' her, still lovin' it =)
And thank you (K) for staying with me post lunch even though I know you're just really enjoying the wait before I chicken out.. haha
